Countable/uncountable nouns
Countable and uncountable nouns A boy, a table, a building are all nouns that we can count. That means we can say “one boy”, “three tables”, “fifty buildings”. However, there are some nouns that we can’t count. These nouns are often materials, food, liquids, or abstract concepts. For example: gull (gold), ris (rice), kaffe (coffee), …
