Who is the course suitable for?
The course is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their Norwegian pronunciation. It will be most beneficial for those who have learned Norwegian for a short while and want to focus on their pronunciation. Complete beginners can take the course as well. We recommend starting with the basic lessons on vowels and consonants and gradually move to other lessons.
Why should I take this course?
Mastering the pronunciation of Norwegian is the key to a good communication with the locals and other Norwegian language learners! In our course you will be able to learn how to pronounce the sounds correctly, learn the difference between how we speak and write Norwegian and will be able to record yourself and compare your pronunciation to the native speaker. Our course provides quality material for a reasonable cost.
What is included in the course? What does each lesson look like?
Each lesson includes a 1-10 minute video, a lesson script, an audio file for each word, translation of the words and a voice recorder. More challenging lessons also include interactive exercises to enhance your learning.
What are “lesson topics”?
Some lessons are divided into topics for your convenience. These include letters that can be pronounced in different ways. Topics make it easier to navigate between these lessons.
How do I keep track of my learning process?
Each lesson gives you an option to mark it as COMPLETE. When you feel that you have learned the material, just mark the lesson “complete” and it will appear as completed in your course overview.
How do I access the course?
When you sign up for this course, you provide your email and create your password. Use this email and password to login to your account. On your account page, you will see the courses you have access to.
How much time will I spend on the course?
It depends on your effort and skills. Each lesson contains 1-10 minute video, depending on the sounds it covers. Some lessons are simple and short. The others cover more challenging sounds for the Norwegian language learners. They explain differences between how we write and speak Norwegian and require more time and attention.
Will I get a personal teacher in this course?
No, all the lessons are pre-recorded. In order to offer a quality material at an affordable price, we do not have teachers in this course. We are considering the option of extra lessons with a teacher at an additional rate, but it is not available at the moment.
How long can I use the course?
Once you purchase the course, you have access to it for 6 months.
Do you offer a free trial period?
You can get a refund within 15 days if the course is nor suiteable for you. You can also take a sample lesson instead.
What if I lose my password?
Go to the login page and click on “Forgot Password?”. We will send you a link in your email that you can use to create a new password.

I live in USA/China/Australia…, can I access the course?
Yes, this is an online course and it is available worldwide. All you need is Internet connection.
How can I pay for the course?
