The most affordable live Norwegian classes
Select the live conversation classes that suit your level and schedule. Each class has 16 sessions (twice a week for 8 weeks). You pay the fee in two monthly installments and it does not renew after two months. You can sign up for more than one class.

Norwegian A1 course
A1 Norwegian course is designed for beginners. If you haven’t learned Norwegian before, or just know the basics, this is the right course for you. You will start by learning simple grammar structures and most important vocabulary and you will gradually progress to more complicated topics.

Norwegian A2 course
A2 Norwegian course is for you who have learned some Norwegian and have completed the A1 course with Norwegian Academy or its equivalent. You will learn more complex grammar, expand your vocabulary and will be able to talk on many common topics after finishing this course.
Norwegian B1.1 course
Our new online Norwegian course at B1.1 level will be launched on April 20! At this level, you will continue building your skills in Norwegian. This course will strengthen your confidence in everyday situations and allow you to actively participate in conversations. You will learn how to speak and write with a larger vocabulary, better flow and more sophisticated sentences. Stay tuned for the launch!

Yes, in the conversation classes you will be able to practice Norwegian with a native Norwegian teacher as well as your classmates. You will also get personal feedback on your written assignments in our online Norwegian courses.
Our classes are suitable for Norwegian learners who would like combine self-study with conversation classes. This flexible offer allows you to study at your own pace and practice the vocabulary and grammar you have learned in the speaking classes. You will receive support and guidance from a native Norwegian teacher and will be able to interact with your classmates as well. The courses and classes we are offering at the moment are at A1 and A2 level.
There will be between 5 and 10 people in your conversation class. You will have a chance to speak with your teacher and also with your classmates, in pairs or small groups.
The conversation classes will be conducted online via Zoom platform. You will receive information about how you can access the classes a few days before the start.
Each class is either 60 or 75 minutes long, depending on the group size.
Yes, it is possible to transfer to another group provided that there are free seats.
You can get a complete refund for up to 24h before your classes start. After that we cannot refund your payment. Please send us an email to hello@norwegianacademy.com or contact us through our contact form.
It is a student’s responsibility to attend the classes. It is not possible to get a refund or take up the classes you have missed. This includes technical issues or illnesses.
You will receive access to our online courses immediately after the purchase. It means that you can start learning right away on your own and don’t have to wait until the conversation classes start. The courses included in this offer are: Norwegian A1 course, A2 course, Pronunciation Course and Vocabulary Builder.
The conversation classes are aimed at improving your speaking skills, use of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. You will talk on some common topics introduced in our online courses. It means that you will practice what you are learning!
A few days before the class, your teacher will send you an email with the conversation topic and links to the relevant lessons in our online courses. It means that you can prepare in advance so you can take the most out of your conversation class!
